Katie has worked in the real estate industry since January of 2004 and was formally with Prudential California Realty. Since moving back home to the Hampton Roads area, Katie is proud to call herself a part of Nancy Chandler Associates.

Katie comes from a huge family of 6 children and is aunt to 14 nieces and nephews. With such deep roots in the Hampton Roads area, Katie is deeply involved and concerned with maintaining and improving the overall health and vitality of the region. As a career, real estate gives Katie the opportunity to help define the region she and her family live in and love as well as gives her the opportunity to pursue her other passion, helping others. "Purchasing a home is one of the biggest investments a person may make in their entire lifetime," says Katie, "helping my clients make the best decisions for their situation and future is my top priority."

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS

After graduating from James Madison University, Katie moved to the San Diego. It was in San Diego where Katie fell in love with helping people in the real estate process. While out on the West Coast, Katie was fortunate enough to travel extensively, experience many other cultures and also create a solid career for herself in the real estate industry. Although the West Coast had a lot to offer, Norfolk never lost its appeal to her as she found her self homesick for the comforts and the exciting things that the area now offers. "It's such a great area that I could no longer put off coming back to Norfolk," says Katie. "I am so proud this is home."
